Westport United U.16 girls are all set for their WFAI U.16 Girls Regional Cup tie against Mervue United at United Park this Sunday.

It was an incredible season for the girls, having reached the last 16 of the national cup, where they performed gallantly against a very good Hanover Harps side before losing 3-1.

This will be a tough encounter for the girls as Mervue United are a very good team and contain many well established names in girls football.

Kick off at United Park is at 2:00 on Sunday and all supporters of girls football are asked to come and give the girls their support.
